Early Career and Education
Amram graduated from Harvard University in 2010 with a degree in psychology. During her time at Harvard, she co-wrote two Hasty Pudding shows (Acropolis Now and Commie Dearest) with roommate Alexandra Petri, making them the first all-female team of Pudding playwrights.
From Twitter to Television
After graduation, Amram moved to Los Angeles and began tweeting jokes daily in 2010, quickly amassing a following that caught the attention of industry professionals. Her Twitter success paved the way to her first industry gig as a writer for the 83rd Academy Awards in 2011.
