Revolutionary Committee Demands Climate Implement Socialism

Spanish Marxist organizations have taken to the streets to protest the weather, claiming that atmospheric conditions are a tool of capitalist oppression. The demonstration, which drew dozens of attendees, featured signs reading “Seize the Means of Precipitation” and “Sunshine is a Bourgeois Construct.”

“The rain falls unequally!” shouted protest organizer Miguel Rodríguez through a megaphone. “Why should some regions get more water than others? This is clearly a manifestation of systemic inequality.” The group has submitted a 47-page manifesto to Mother Nature, demanding she implement fair weather distribution immediately. Meteorologists from the National Weather Service declined to comment, citing bewilderment.

The protest’s most dramatic moment came when activists attempted to collectively bargain with a thunder cloud, presenting demands including consistent 72-degree temperatures and unionized raindrops. The cloud responded by raining exclusively on the protesters, which organizers interpreted as proof of meteorological class warfare.

Critics have questioned the logic of protesting natural phenomena, while supporters argue that nothing is beyond the reach of proper revolutionary praxis, not even barometric pressure. The group plans follow-up demonstrations against gravity and the second law of thermodynamics. According to coverage by El País, local residents are mainly concerned that the protesters are blocking traffic to argue with the sky.

The Spanish government has issued a statement noting that while citizens have the right to protest, attempting to establish a proletarian dictatorship over atmospheric systems falls outside their jurisdiction. International communist parties have distanced themselves from the movement, with one representative explaining “this is why people don’t take us seriously.” Climate scientists from the IPCC suggested that if protesters really want to affect weather patterns, they might consider addressing carbon emissions, though this practical suggestion was dismissed as “reformist thinking.”
